AC/DC supplies fit tight budgets

The LCS series of power supplies from XP Power offer a variety of output voltages at power levels of 35, 50, 75, and 100 W. These economical convection-cooled units meet Class B conducted and radiated emission limits, permitting low-cost system integration.

The power supplies accept an input voltage range of 85 to 264 VAC to allow global use in a wide range of ITE and industrial applications. Such applications include auxiliary power sources, security installations, lighting control, and smart home control systems.

The 35-W supply provides a single regulated output of 5, 12, 15, or 24V. The 50-W, 75-W, and 100-W supplies furnish a single regulated output of 5, 12, 15, 24, 36, or 48V. To accommodate nonstandard system voltages, the output voltage of each supply is adjustable to within ±10%. Operating over a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, the power supplies deliver full rated power to +50°C and up to 60% power at +70°C.

Standard features include a power-on LED, low standby power consumption of 0.3 W, output short-circuit protection, and both overcurrent and overtemperature protection. Input-to-output isolation is 4000 VAC, while input-to-ground isolation is 2000 VAC and output-to-ground isolation is 1250 VAC. Earth leakage current is a maximum of 0.75 mA. All of the LSC power supplies have an aluminum chassis with a vented galvanized steel cover and integrated connector terminals. Conformal coating is optional.

Prices for the LCS series of AC/DC power supplies start at $8.28 each in lots of 500 units.
