Xiaomi is ready to bring back its Redmi K-series back to India with the upcoming launch of the Redmi K50i 5G. Noted insider Ishan Agarwal confirms the device is headed to India and expects it to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11T Pro that launched in China last month. This means the K50i should bring a Dimensity 8100 chipset alongside a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging.
In terms of cameras, the K50i may launch with a 64MP main shooter alongside an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP depth helper. The front should carry a 16MP selfie cam. Based on the new info, Redmi K50i will arrive in Black and Silver colors and 6/128GB and 8/128GB trims. Pricing details were not provided but we’ll likely come across more leaks as the launch day nears.
