JFW Industries Introduces 6x6 Blocking Matrix Switch that Operates from 400 to 7125 MHz

JFW Industries has launched the Model 50MS-471, a 6×6 blocking matrix switch designed to operate across the 400 to 7125 MHz frequency range. This switch supports up to six active paths simultaneously, offering flexible connectivity for a range of RF applications. Each input port can be set to only one output port at a time and all ports operate bi-directionally. They have N-type or SMA female connectors, to ensure compatibility with a variety of setups. Unused ports are absorptive, automatically terminating into a 50-ohm load to minimize signal reflections and ensure optimal performance.

Control options for the 50MS-471 include an Ethernet remote control and a keypad manual interface, catering to both automated and hands-on usage scenarios. The switch is capable of handling up to +26 dBm average power, making it suitable for demanding environments. All ports are bidirectional, allowing input and output labels to serve as naming conventions rather than functional limitations. The device is built into a 19-inch rack-mount chassis, ensuring easy integration into existing test systems.
