ETL Systems Enables Cutting-Edge RF Distribution for Satellite Signals with GENUS Splitters and Combiners

ETL Systems has introduced a line-up of GENUS Splitters & Combiners to provide cutting-edge RF distribution for uplink and downlink satellite signals. Engineered for versatility, these L-band combiners and IF splitters are designed to meet diverse operational requirements with precision and reliability. From standalone rack units to outdoor-rated modular chassis, GENUS Splitters & Combiners offer:

  • Exceptional scalability for teleport growth.
  • Reliable performance in mission-critical applications.
  • Compatibility with diverse RF applications, including broadband and C-band.

ETL’s L-band Splitter and L-band Combiner products are available in a variety of sizes, including 2-way, 4-way, 8-way, 16-way, and 32-way configurations. Both active and passive splitters are supplied, catering to different operational needs. These products come in modular formats as well as standalone rack units, providing flexibility in installation and integration.

Most L-band splitters feature Low Noise Block (LNB) powering, which can typically be switched on or off. Some L-band dividers offer 10 MHz and DC pass on one port for LNB powering. For mission-critical applications, dual redundant amplifiers and amplifier current monitoring are available. Additionally, ETL offers a range of IF splitters, while broadband and C-band splitters are designed for more specialized applications.

Secure Remote Control & Monitoring

The GENUS habitat offers improved security aspects (SNMPv3 and HTTPS) while maintaining an industry-leading module density, with 17 module slots available in the 1U chassis. These upgrades make GENUS a highly secure and efficient solution for demanding applications.

Save Rack Space & Cost

The GENUS chassis integrates StingRay RF-over-Fiber, ETL’s Falcon frequency converters, ALTO amplifiers, switches, splitters, and small RF matrices/routers, all within a single indoor or outdoor chassis. This consolidation reduces costs, saves rack space, and enhances system resilience.
