ETS-Lindgren to Showcase Interesting Innovations at SATELLITE 2025 and EuCAP 2025

ETS-Lindgren has announced its participation in SATELLITE 2025 Conference & Expo and technical contributions to the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP) 2025. SATELLITE 2025 is being held at Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, from March 11 to 13, while EuCAP 2025, Europe’s largest and most significant antennas and propagation conference, will be held at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre from March 30 to April 4.

At SATELLITE 2025, ETS-Lindgren is showcasing its cutting-edge Satellite Communications Solutions, including Antenna Measurement Systems, EMC Test and Measurement Products, and RF Shielding. Products on display include Absorbers, Antennas, a representation of an Antenna Measurement System, and a Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Chamber “cutaway.”  The cutaway model provides an indication of the complexity of test environments in terms of maintaining the RF shielding performance, with penetration examples used to bring air, water, power, and other necessities into and out of the chamber. These penetrations, if not designed and installed correctly, will adversely impact the shielding integrity. Our experts will be on hand to discuss this and many other aspects of proper RF design and installation.

At EuCAP 2025, where ETS-Lindgren is also a proud Gold Sponsor, global experts will make major technical contributions. Zhong Chen, Chief Engineer with ETS-Lindgren, will present a series of insightful papers beginning with “Further Investigating Antenna Extrapolation Through Direct Higher Order Fitting” on Tuesday, April 1, at 10:50, as part of Convened Session (CS) 40b in Room Maxwell (C2). Next, he will give the talk “Time-Domain Gating and Edge Treatment Techniques for Improved Accuracy in Antenna Measurements” on Wednesday, April 2, at 10:10, as part of Scientific Workshop (SW) 6 in Room Mosig (23); finally, in Room Maxwell (C2), as part of CS41 on Thursday, April 3, at 16:10, Mr. Chen will present “Advancements in Compressed Sensing for Antenna Far-Field Gain Calibration in an Extrapolation Range.” (Note: All times are CET.)

“I look forward to presenting at EuCAP on my series of papers exploring critical aspects of our field, in addition to addressing attendees’ questions that usually lead to intriguing discussions,” says Mr. Chen.

Industrial Workshop (IW) 5 features James Young, Director, Wireless Solutions with ETS-Lindgren, who will present “Emerging 5G Test Methodologies to Efficiently and Cost-Effectively Validate Antenna Performance,” scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, at 08:00, in Room Munch (23).

Lastly, Garth D’Abreu, Director, Automotive Solutions with ETS-Lindgren, will be contributing to the discourse at EuCAP 2025 with his presentation “Reverberation Chambers for Antenna Measurements” scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, at 10:10, in Room Jansson (31), as part of Session SW1b.

In addition to the technical presentations noted above, Janet O’Neil, Customer Relations Manager with ETS-Lindgren, is co-chairing several sessions at EuCAP 2025, including CS40a/b on “Novel Antenna Measurement Techniques: Advancements in Design and Evaluation,” scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, from 08:00 to 11:50 in Room Maxwell (C2); SW6 on “Innovative Techniques to Improve Measurement Accuracy” scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, from 08:00 to 11:50 in Room Mosig (23); CS41 on “Select Best Measurement Paper Candidates from Antenna Measurement Techniques Association Authors at EuCAP – Updates in 2025 on Best Measurement Techniques,” scheduled for Thursday, April 3, from 15:50 to 17:30 in Room Maxwell (C2); and CS43a/b on “Trends and Advances in Test and Measurement for 5G and Beyond” scheduled for Friday, April 4, from 08:30 to 12:20 in Room Ørsted (24+25).
