Antenova has introduced Inpai (P/N SR4L099), an SMD cellular antenna that is designed for NB-IoT and CAT M on 4G/LTE networks, has a slightly smaller footprint than the popular Lucida antenna, and operates on all LTE and mobile bands. The new additions provide exceptional performance in a compact design, measuring 35 x 8 x 3.3 mm with a clearance of 35 x 13 mm. Optimal performance requires the antenna to be positioned along the short end of a 105 x 40 mm size PCB. The Inpai antenna performs efficiently on all cellular networks and qualifies for AT&T’s standardized Small Form Factor (<107 mm) requirements for certification in North America.
Multi-band efficiency is impressive and assists with positive results of PTCRB certification testing. The Inpai operates at an efficiency of 48.8% in the 698-960 MHz frequency band, 61.5% efficiency in the 1710-2170 MHz frequency band, 68.7% efficiency in the 2300-2400 MHz frequency band, and 55% efficiency in the 2500-2690 MHz frequency band. It is best suited for NB-IoT and CAT M on 4G/LTE networks, as these networks offer low data rates and a large coverage area. This cellular antenna is compatible with several additional wireless technologies that can handle large amounts of data, broader coverage, and increase download speed, such as LTE, GSM, CDMA, DCS, PCS, WCDMA, UMTS, HSPDA, GPRS, EDGE, IMT.
Antenova simplifies the design cycle process by providing a reference design that includes a matching network circuit. Inpai (P/N SR4L099) is an excellent choice for the most used 4G antenna applications including telematics, cellular WiFi hotspots, IoT (Internet of Things), M2M (Machine to Machine), drone communications, POS (Point of Sale) terminals.
Antenova’s engineering and design team continues its philosophy of Design for Integration (DFI) where the design approach is to create an antenna that a product designer can place on a PCB and conveniently integrate with the other circuits, rather than designing a product to fit around the antenna. The Inpai antenna is the latest in Antenova’s family of lamiiANT antennas manufactured from high-grade dielectric constant laminate substrates.
Inpai (P/N SR4L099) wireless antenna and its evaluation board (PN SR4L099-EVB) are available to order from authorized distributors.
