L3Harris Technologies and Kuiper Government Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., have partnered to deliver integrated, resilient satellite communications (satcom) solutions to governments and militaries worldwide.
The collaboration will focus on innovating and delivering hybrid satcom with high speed and low-latency global connectivity. L3Harris will pair its trusted and resilient global tactical networks and comprehensive communication system technology with KGS’ global satellite network.

KGS is the government-focused division of Project Kuiper, the Amazon initiative to deliver fast, reliable and secure connectivity through a constellation of satellites in low-Earth orbit.

L3Harris satcom capabilities support a diverse customer base, including the U.S. Air Force Laboratory, (AFRL) U.S. Special Operations Command and others. L3Harris has been the leading provider of satcom technology to the U.S. Department of Defense and international allies for decades and an industry partner in the AFRL’s Global Lightning experiment since 2021. The partnership with KGS formalizes a collaboration between the two companies that has already generated unique solutions that provide robust, resilient and effective communication architectures to operate effectively in contested environments.
