Millibeam Develops PHASEBEAM, an Efficient and Cost-Effective Solution for Low-Power FR1 5G Applications

Millibeam has developed PHASEBEAM, a highly efficient and cost-effective solution platform tailored for low-power FR1 5G applications operating across the 3.3 – 4.1 GHz spectrum. At the heart of PHASEBEAM is P1D1A1, a cutting-edge multi-channel transceiver designed to support 2×2 MIMO systems. This makes it an ideal component for a wide range of use cases, from compact mobile handsets to robust Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) devices.

PHASEBEAM adapts seamlessly across devices. In handset applications, P1D1A1 pairs with the H11D1A1, a 2-channel single-pole double-throw RF switch. This combination allows the transceiver to interface with 2Tx and 2Rx MIMO antennas for optimal performance in mobile environments. For FWA deployments, P1D1A1 can be integrated with four FR1 antennas to support dual transmit and dual receive paths, enhancing connectivity in residential or enterprise setups where reliable wireless infrastructure is key.

Target industries include handsets, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Terminal Equipment. With PHASEBEAM, Millibeam addresses the growing demand for scalable, power-efficient 5G solutions that deliver high performance without compromising on cost or design complexity.
