A couple of months ago, the iQOO Z10R launched in India – now the company is launching an iQOO Z10R in Indonesia, but it’s not the same phone.
Things are still in the pre-order stage – pre-orders will start on October 23 and sales should kick off after October 31. So, for now only a few details are known, but they are enough to show that it’s very much not the same phone.
The upcoming Indonesian Z10R is powered by the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset and has a 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging. The Z10R that launched in India has the Dimensity 7400 and a 5,700mAh battery with 44W charging instead.
An iQOO Z10R is coming to Indonesia soon – but it’s really a vivo V60 Lite
This appears to be a rebrand of the vivo V60 Lite instead – the chipset and battery specs match, as does the camera island design. The phone will have a 120Hz OLED screen with up to 3,000 nits brightness (this again matches the V60 Lite).
What’s odd about this is that the vivo V60 Lite is already available in Indonesia – the 5G variant as well as the separate 4G model. The 5G 8/256GB model costs IDR 5,000,000 ($300) with a 12/512GB option at IDR 6,000,000. Other than new paint options (Elegant Black and Titanium Gold), what does the iQOO Z10R bring?
We will check again in a couple of days to see whether there are any hidden upgrades in the Z10R or whether this is just a new look for the vivo V60 Lite.
