IMS 2026 Calls for MicroApps Proposals Highlighting the “Revolutionizing RF” Theme

The Technical Program Committee of the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2026 is inviting MicroApps proposals that showcase how the community is driving innovation and accelerating the future of RF and microwave technology. The IMS 2026 will feature a variety of important areas that highlight the symposium’s theme of “Revolutionizing RF.” The deadline for submitting proposals is December 5, 2025.

The MicroApps Seminars are 15 minutes each and will be held 9-11 June 2026. They are held in the IMS MicroApps Theater, located on the Exhibit Floor, providing easy access (at no additional charge) for all attendees and exhibitors. For over three decades, MicroApps has been a cornerstone of IMS, offering practical, accessible content geared toward the core principles of the microwave engineering community.

Each presentation is carefully curated to cover a wide range of relevant topics including:

  • Design Methodologies & Techniques
  • Modeling & Simulation Innovations
  • 5G/6G & Beyond
  • Test & Measurement
  • Algorithms, Signal Integrity, & AI/ML

The committee is excited to introduce a new focus area, Applied AI/ML, where attendees explore how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing microwave engineering with faster and more comprehensive measurement and design solutions. This year’s sessions will be organized by subject matter, making it easier than ever for attendees to navigate the program. They’ll be able to find the presentations that appeal to them and gather information on a specific topic from diverse industry experts.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to share their expertise, connect with peers from across the globe, and inspire the next wave of RF innovation.
