KRYTAR, a leader in the design and production of ultra-broadband microwave components and test equipment, has introduced two new Directional Couplers operating in the wideband frequency range from 7.125 to 15.35 GHz (C- thru Ku-Bands). The directional couplers are designed for systems applications where external leveling, precise monitoring, signal mixing or swept transmission and reflection measurements are required. The new directional couplers are uniquely suited for the emerging mmWave and 6G markets. These new KRYTAR Directional Couplers offer the tightest specifications available on the market.
Both couplers operate from 7.125 to 15.35 GHz with Model 107125-1535-10 offering Nominal Coupling of 10 ±1.0 dB and Model 107125-1535-20 offering Nominal Coupling of 20 ±1.0 dB. The couplers have a frequency sensitivity of ±0.3 dB, Insertion Loss (including coupled power) of <1.1 dB, Directivity of >13 dB, Maximum VSWR (any port) is 1.4:1, and Input Power Rating of 20 W average and 3 kW peak. Both directional couplers are available in compact packages that measure just 1.12 inches (L) x 0.53 inches (W) x 0.64 inches (H) and weigh only 1.1 ounces. They have industry-standard 3.5mm Female connectors and optional 3.5mm Male connectors and an operating temperature is -54° to +85° C.
