Rosenberger Appoints Hauke Schütt as Chief Technology Officer

Rosenberger has been expanding its management board and has appointed Hauke Schütt as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Rosenberger Group, effective February 1, 2026. With this new position, the company emphasises its intention to broaden senior-level technology oversight and to continue activities in specific technology areas, such as quantum technology, optical connectivity, and data centre and AI semiconductor applications. 

The creation of the CTO division has marked an important step toward consolidating innovation speed, global development activities, and long-term technological expertise. In his new role, Hauke Schütt has also assumed responsibility for the Research & Development and Laboratory departments at the Fridolfing site. 

Hauke Schütt has been with Rosenberger since 2004 and has significantly helped to shape the company in technological fields of the future. He has brought professional experience in semiconductor technology and optical connectivity, as well as a broad international network in Rosenberger’s key regions, North America and East Asia. His international career – including extended research stays in Portugal, Svalbard, and Beijing, as well as employment at customers and competitors – has given him deep insight into global technology landscapes. 

Over the past 15 years, he has led the Business Area Semicon & Test, has developed it into a business unit within Rosenberger Group’s operations, reflecting the alignment of technology and market activities. 

With this decision, the Board of Directors has also acknowledged Schütt’s many years of service and contributions to the development of various business units, both technologically and in international customer and market environments.
