Infleqtion Partners with Safran to Provide Quantum Precision Timing Solutions Using Neutral-Atom Technology

Infleqtion, a company focused on quantum sensing and quantum computing using neutral-atom technology, announced availability of a quantum-enabled precision timing solution delivered as part of the company’s partnership with Safran Electronics & Defense. The solution includes Infleqtion’s Tiqker™ quantum optical clock, integrated and validated with Safran’s White Rabbit and SecureSync® systems.

Modern systems, including financial markets, military operations, telecom networks, and datacenters, depend on GPS or GNSS for precise timing, but these are vulnerable to jamming, spoofing, and natural disruption. As threats to traditional timing infrastructure grow, the need for resilient, independent alternatives has increased.

Infleqtion and Safran Electronics & Defense integrated Tiqker with White Rabbit and SecureSync systems to address this. In a live demonstration conducted with Quantum Corridor, the integrated solution was validated in a real-world environment, demonstrating picosecond (PS) accuracy compared to nanosecond (NS) GPS accuracy. The combined solution delivers stability and resilience, supporting continuity of operations for mission-critical systems in environments where traditional timing signals are challenged or denied.

“Resilient timing is foundational to national security, secure communications and the infrastructure the global economy runs on,” said Matt Kinsella, CEO of Infleqtion. “We’ve combined quantum precision with proven synchronization systems to deliver the independence and reliability that mission-critical operations demand.”

The collaboration between Infleqtion and Safran Electronics & Defense makes the validated solution available to customers globally across defense, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure sectors, supporting deployment of precision timing architectures designed to operate in GNSS-challenged environments.
