Richardson RFPD has entered into a global franchise agreement with Ampleon, a company specializing in RF power technologies. The agreement enables Richardson RFPD to expand its portfolio by offering a broader range of RF and microwave components to customers worldwide.
Through this partnership, Richardson RFPD will provide access to Ampleon’s RF power solutions, which are used across applications including 5G infrastructure, industrial systems, medical equipment, broadcast, aerospace, and safety-related technologies. Ampleon brings several decades of experience in RF innovation, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalable manufacturing.
The portfolio available under this agreement includes LDMOS and GaN RF power transistors, RF amplifier modules, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) solutions, and application-specific RF power platforms.
