Ranatec, a part of Qamcom Group and progressive creator of test and measurement equipment for RF and microwave applications, has introduced its new ready-to-use switch boxes. The Ranatec RF2037 is a high-performance RF Switch box with six electromechanical coaxial latching SPDT-switches, with DC – 6 GHz, and the RF2038 is a high-performance RF Switch box with six switches, four SP6T and two SPDT (terminated), DC – 26.5 GHz. These two new Switch Box configurations strengthen Ranatec’s position as a provider of high-performance RF switching solutions.
The new Switch Boxes are a natural extension of Ranatec’s existing RF switching portfolio, complementing the company’s current portfolio by adding standardized configurations, while maintaining the same high-quality performance and remote-control capabilities via web interface and API. The new boxes further strengthen Ranatec’s overall offering by combining flexibility and convenience.

The RF2037 is a mechanical switch designed for high power handling and excellent linearity, supporting a DC to 26.5 GHz RF frequency range. It offers an insertion loss of less than 0.7 dB at 26.5 GHz and can handle a maximum input power of 46 dBm at 26.5 GHz, making it suitable for demanding high-frequency RF applications.
The RF2038 is a mechanical switch optimized for high power and linearity performance across a DC to 6 GHz RF frequency range. It features an insertion loss of less than 0.3 dB at 6 GHz, along with exceptional insertion loss repeatability of 0.03 dB over a lifespan of 10 million switching cycles, ensuring reliable long-term operation.
These switching solutions are designed for applications such as production testing of mobile handsets, production testing of mobile base stations, Built-In-Test (BITE) applications, MIMO applications, automated test and measure and signal monitoring.
