Travis Kelce’s favorite smart bed is 20% off for July 4th

Sleep Number has been making headlines this year. NFL tight end Travis Kelce — yes, the newly minted Mr. Taylor Swift himself — entered a strategic partnership with the sleep company in January.

Then, in March, Sleep Number refreshed its entire lineup of smart beds, all of which are discounted during its 4th of July sale. The standout offer is 20% off the Sleep Number ComfortNext Smart Bed, with a queen-size on sale for $2,399 (from $2,999). You can also add a free bed base, up to a $549 value.

We’re currently testing the ComfortNext, so stay tuned for our full review to see where it lands among our best mattresses of 2026. What we can tell you is that it includes the signature features we’ve come to expect and appreciate from Sleep Number, including adjustable firmness and sleep tracking.

If you can’t wait for our ComfortNext review, you can take Mr. Kelce’s word for it instead, or browse the rest of the 4th of July mattress sales for other great sleep deals.

Is it safe to buy a Sleep Number bed right now?

The headlines haven’t all been pleasant. In case you missed it, Sleep Number recently filed for bankruptcy amidst declining sales and other financial troubles. Sleep Country Canada will likely be acquiring the brand.

Sleep Number aims to close the sale by the end of July, although it’s currently open to higher bids. An auction is planned for July 13, should Sleep Number accept a better offer.

As it stands now, Sleep Number is looking ahead to its potential partnership with Sleep Country Canada — so what does that mean for current and future Sleep Number customers?

In a statement to Tom’s Guide, a Sleep Number spokesperson said, “Sleep Number is operating as usual and remains focused on serving its customers and helping them achieve their best sleep. Now and following the close of the transaction, customers will continue to experience the same Sleep Number products, services, and support they know today.”

In other words, don’t expect any disruptions — to your sleep or otherwise — during the sale process. You’ll still be able to make purchases, use the Sleep Number app, and reach out to customer service. Your 100-night trial and 10-year warranty will be honored, as well.

With that said, here’s what else is worth browsing in Sleep Number’s 4th of July sale…
