Markdown-based note editor that allows quick text formatting
Based on Markdown, Fairmark features a three-panel main window that allows users to quickly browse pinned notes, use the Markdown language to write notes and preview the output.
Don’t worry if you are not yet familiar with Markdown. Every instruction you give Fairmark is immediately transformed into the Markdown syntax, with all the changes instantly available in the preview panel.
There are options for standard text formatting (bold, italic, strikethrough), creating headings, marking source code and quotes, creating bulleted lists and expandable content (such as dropdown lists). Links and images can be inserted into the text with the click of a button.
Privacy-oriented features and efficient note organizing
As for the way notes can be organized in Fairmark, it is important to highlight that privacy is one of the directions this application is focused on.
Notes are stored locally, and advanced settings allow biometrics or PIN-based authentication to access Fairmark. You can configure the application to hide its contents from screenshots, including Windows Recall. An application access log can be created upon request.
Other than that, notes can be organized and filtered by assigned tags and sorted either by name or by tag names. An emoji and a custom name can be assigned to each.
