TL;DR
- Galaxy owners are reporting an issue with the navigation bar when using NavStar.
- The navigation bar does not disappear when using NavStar’s hide function.
- Samsung has acknowledged the issue and says it will be resolved in a future update.
NavStar, a Good Lock module, lets you customize the navigation bar on Galaxy phones in all kinds of ways. For example, you can change the look of the icons, or even tack on additional buttons. However, one of its most useful functions is no longer working properly for some.
NavStar has an option that allows you to hide the navigation bar if you don’t want to see it all the time. According to a Galaxy S25 Plus user reporting on Samsung’s community forum, this feature is malfunctioning. Even when unpinned, the bar will remain in place and won’t go down. It appears that tapping the pin/hide button does nothing.
