Werbel Microwave has introduced the WMC-0.3-8-30dB-S, a wideband directional coupler designed to provide reliable RF signal sampling across a broad frequency range from 300 MHz to 8 GHz. The coupler delivers 30 dB nominal coupling and offers 23 dB typical directivity, ±0.6 dB typical coupling flatness, 0.5 dB typical insertion loss and 25 dB typical return loss. It supports a maximum input power of 20 W and is equipped with SMA female connectors.
With coverage spanning upper UHF, L-, S-, and C-Bands, the WMC-0.3-8-30dB-S enables engineers to use a single coupler across multiple RF bands. This makes it suitable for broadband test environments and multi-band RF systems where a sampled signal is required for monitoring, measurement, or analysis. The device can be used in applications including RF test and measurement, signal monitoring, power measurement, communications testing and defense RF systems.
