Rumor claims the Oppo Reno17 series won’t include a Pro model

The Oppo Reno17 series is rumored to launch in China next month. However, a new leak claims that the lineup will not include a Pro model, at least in India. Meanwhile, a hands-on image of the standard Reno17 has surfaced online.

According to the leak, the Reno17 will retain most of its predecessor’s specifications and design.

The leak suggests that the Reno17 will feature the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and triple rear camera setup as the Reno16. The main upgrade could be a larger battery, with the upcoming phone tipped to pack a 7,000mAh or higher-capacity cell. It is also said to run ColorOS 17.

A recent leak claimed that the Reno17 lineup would comprise two models with small and large displays, with one of them featuring a 200MP main rear camera. While the series could still include a Pro model in China, it may be absent from global markets.

In India, the Oppo Reno17 is tipped to launch in early January, priced between INR 60,000 and INR 70,000.
