Warhammer Tone Pro: Superb coverage and vibrant colours

The Warhammer Tone Pro range lands on the shelf on Saturday. Yesterday, we saw just how flexible the new paints are, and today we’re looking at their coverage and vibrancy.

One of the first things you’ll notice when you open a pot of Tone Pro is how smooth and consistent the paint is, and all 150 paints have the same consistency. Then, when you’ve got the paint onto your brush, you’ll feel how smoothly it flows onto your miniatures.

The paints give incredible coverage – it’s the best coverage so far from a Warhammer paint. Even white* and yellow, which are notoriously difficult colours to get right, give a solid, opaque coat from the first application. The quality of the pigment in the paint is what allows it to cover so well, and it makes painting even those notorious colours much more accessible.

It’s not just the coverage, Tone Pro also has some of the most vibrant colours of Warhammer paints too. This really opens up your options for creativity and the different stories you can tell with your miniatures. They also work really well with the existing Warhammer Colour range, opening up even more options for your colour schemes.

Finally, the new paints will self-level as they dry. This means you’ll get a really smooth finish, brush strokes will disappear, and the details on your miniatures don’t get clogged up. This makes Tone Pro both easy to use and incredibly forgiving.

You’ll be able to get your hands on the new paints from Saturday. Head down to your local store to begin a new era of Warhammer painting.
