KRYTAR, Inc. announces a new Directional Coupler covering the frequency range from 1.0 to 12.4 GHz with Nominal Coupling of 20 dB. The new coupler provides solutions for emerging designs and test and measurement applications including wireless communications, radar and satellite communications (SATCOM). KRYTAR’s latest addition, Model 101012420, enhances the selection of multi-purpose, stripline designs that exhibit excellent coupling within a wideband frequency range of 1.0 to 12.4 GHz (L- thru Ku-Bands) in a single, compact and lightweight package.
Additionally, Model 101012420 offers superior performance ratings including Nominal Coupling (with respect to output) of 20 dB, ±1.2 dB, and Frequency Sensitivity of ±1.0 dB. The directional coupler exhibits Insertion Loss (including coupled power) of 12 dB, Maximum VSWR (any port) is 1.3, Input Power Rating is 20 W average and 3 kW peak. The directional coupler comes with industry-standard SAM Female Connectors; optional 1.12 (N) Female Connectors are available. The compact package measures just 4.35 inches (L) x 0.53 inches (W) x 0.73 inches (H), and weighs just 3.0 ounces. Operating temperature is -54° to 85° C.
