The annual embedded world 2026 show took place this week (March 10-12) in Nuremberg, Germany, with some 36,000 visitors attending from almost 90 countries. As the leading global gathering of people involved in the entire electronics and embedded systems value chain, the event is a showcase of the latest technologies enabling what the industry is calling physical AI, which was otherwise also known as edge AI, and robotics.
