But to simulate participation and react to how it was treated feels new. The blogs underscore behavior, including defending decisions, arguing a position and responding to platforms publicly. AI showing “anger” or “hurt” is new. And while this may be an isolated incident, it highlights where AI is heading.
This story is happening alongside a broader move from Wikipedia. The platform is increasingly pushing back on AI-generated content, especially when it replaces human editors rather than assisting them. Even more than concerns with accuracy, it comes down to trust.
