HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group Acquires Southwest Antennas

Southwest Antennas, Inc. (“SWA”), a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance RF and microwave antennas, has announced that it has joined the HEICO Corporation family as part of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group. The transaction represents a significant milestone in Southwest Antennas’ continued growth and expansion. Under the agreement, HEICO has acquired a majority ownership interest in SWA, while CEO Ben Culver retains a minority stake and will continue to lead the company.

Founded in 2005, Southwest Antennas specializes in rugged, mission-critical antenna solutions supporting military and public safety communications, as well as unmanned systems applications. The company’s products are widely deployed in demanding operational environments, where performance and reliability are essential.

Southwest Antennas will continue to operate from its headquarters in Poway, California, maintaining its 25,000-square-foot facility and its team of more than 110 employees. The company will remain focused on delivering innovative RF and microwave solutions, including antennas operating up to 8.5 GHz, as well as complementary products such as mounting systems, block downconverters, low-noise amplifiers, and filter modules.
