Aaronia to Showcase Magnetic RF Connectors and High-Frequency Test Solutions at IMS 2026

Aaronia AG will showcase its latest innovations in high-frequency measurement technology at booth 23045 in Hall A during IMS 2026 in Boston, taking place June 7–12, 2026. The company will present state-of-the-art test and measurement equipment and accessories to more than 8,000 expected visitors from over 55 countries, with a focus on RF and microwave technology, radar and sensing applications, as well as 5G and 6G networks.

In addition to the USB-based real-time spectrum analyzers of the SPECTRAN® series – flexible, customizable, and extremely powerful solutions – Aaronia, as a full-range supplier, will showcase RF expertise made in Germany through its high-end accessory line.

Magnetic RF Connectors

One of the highlights at this year’s IMS is the new magnetic RF connector series. Clean and secure connections are among the major challenges, especially in mobile field applications. Dirt, bent contacts, or loose connections are common sources of error that can negatively impact measurement results. The new high-frequency connectors enable quick, tool-free installation and eliminate damaged threads caused by over-tightening. Strong magnets ensure a secure hold and reliable connections at all times. Optionally, the connectors can be equipped with magnetic reverse-polarity protection. Currently, the magnetic RF connectors are available for N, SMA, 2.95 mm, 1.85 mm, and 1 mm interfaces.

Edge Mount Waveguide PCB Adapters

These innovative solderless edge-mount waveguide PCB adapters are revolutionizing circuit design. Each adapter in the series features an identical, solderless PCB mounting surface. The adapters are secured to the PCB using the supplied screws. The adapters are suitable for PCBs with a thickness of up to 2.2 mm and can be exchanged for a different model at any time. Currently available are adapters for WR08, WR10, WR12, and WR15 waveguides, as well as 1 mm and 1.85 mm coaxial connectors.

Adapter and Calibration Sets

To make measurements in the high-frequency range easier, faster, and safer, Aaronia has developed specialized adapter and calibration sets. The sets include precision adapters as well as accessories for several common coaxial and waveguide interfaces. This enables the rapid implementation of nearly all conceivable measurement setups while also allowing existing configurations to be quickly adapted to new requirements.

Each set contains adapters in male/male, male/female, and female/female configurations, pairs of test cables for flexible connections, and dial gauge-based test fixtures to ensure proper mechanical connections. Aaronia’s adapter and calibration sets are available for the 3.5 mm, 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm, 1.85 mm, 1 mm, and waveguide connector series. Click here to leran more about the adapter set.

Adjustable Filter Banks and Limiters

Aaronia will also showcase its adjustable filter banks and limiters, designed to enhance measurement accuracy and support demanding RF and microwave testing environments. Their RF limiters are designed to protect sensitive electronic systems from damage caused by excessive high-frequency interference and input power levels. The range includes compact limiter options covering frequencies from 10 MHz to 67 GHz, including 2.92 mm, 1.85 mm, and SMA connectorized models. They are suitable for protecting receivers, test equipment, RF front ends, and other microwave systems from unwanted signal spikes, high-power interference, and transient pulses. With options supporting frequencies up to 8 GHz, 20 GHz, 40 GHz, and 67 GHz, the series provides engineers with flexible protection solutions for a wide range of RF and microwave applications.

Visitors interested in learning more can visit Aaronia at IMS 2026 in Boston at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, Booth 23045 in Hall A. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how Aaronia continues to advance innovation in high-frequency technology and test and measurement solutions.
