It\u2019s coming along well”: Xbox’s Matt Booty says Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls 6 RPG looks “amazing,” and that it will “reveal it at the right time

It’s been exactly eight years to the day since The Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda officially announced The Elder Scrolls 6 during an extremely short teaser trailer at E3 2018. Since then, we’ve heard and seen nothing more about the upcoming RPG outside of the fact that it will be a “classic” Bethesda game made with Creation Engine 3, the latest iteration of the engine used for Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield.

Bethesda‘s game director and executive producer Todd Howard has attempted to assuage concerns about the game’s development by commenting that “it’s progressing really well” and noting that it’s gone smoother than Starfield’s did. Still, many have grown frustrated with the overall silence, especially after The Elder Scrolls 6 didn’t appear during last weekend’s Xbox Games Showcase.
