RedMagic’s Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is set to launch in China tomorrow, and the company has now confirmed that the tablet will be making its way to global markets. As expected, it will launch internationally under the RedMagic Astra 2 branding.
While RedMagic has yet to announce a global launch date, the Astra 2 is expected to retain the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart.
The Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is confirmed to feature a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2.4K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and equipped with a liquid cooling system.
RedMagic has also confirmed an 8,300mAh battery with 80W fast charging, dual USB Type-C ports, and a built-in PC emulator that lets users play Steam games.
Notably, the RedMagic Astra, a rebranded version of the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, made its global debut in July last year.
