Huawei introduced the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro in China last week alongside the nova 16 SE, the 2026 MateBook Fold, and the 2026 MatePad Pro. The new smartwatches offer modest upgrades over the Watch GT 6 series and are available for purchase in China.
The Watch GT 7 comes in 41mm and 46mm case sizes, while the Watch GT 7 Pro is available in a single size. When it comes to design, both smartwatches are similar to their predecessors.
The 41mm Watch GT 7 features a 1.32-inch round AMOLED display, while the 46mm model and the Watch GT 7 Pro are equipped with a larger 1.47-inch AMOLED panel. All three variants offer a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
Huawei’s Watch GT 7 features a stainless steel case paired with a fiber-reinforced composite back, while the more premium Watch GT 7 Pro upgrades to a titanium alloy case with a nanocrystalline ceramic rear panel.
Both smartwatches are equipped with an optical heart rate sensor and a skin temperature sensor, while the Watch GT 7 Pro also adds ECG support. Huawei has also introduced new sports modes and expanded health tracking features across the Watch GT 7 lineup.
As for battery life, Huawei claims the 41mm Watch GT 7 can last up to 14 days on a single charge under light usage. Meanwhile, the 46mm Watch GT 7 and the Watch GT 7 Pro are both rated for up to 21 days of battery life under the same conditions.
The Huawei Watch GT 7 starts at CNY 1,588 for the 41mm model, while the 46mm variant is priced at CNY 1,688.
The more premium Watch GT 7 Pro starts at CNY 2,688. Both smartwatches are available with a variety of strap options and can be purchased through the company’s official online store in China.
