As part of the Argente Utilities, Argente System Manager is also available as a standalone application. Its purpose is to help you apply a few tweaks to customize the Windows experience, while also providing options to optimize startup items, install and uninstall applications.
Gathers all the changes and applies a single fix
If you interacted with any other Argente tool, then the GUI might seem familiar. Argente System Manager displays its current status in the upper part of the main window, which reveals whether there are any issues to address or not.
If you are wondering what those issues might be, I can tell you that they are all listed below, waiting for you to modify the settings as you please.
Automatically install and uninstall applications
What catches the eye first is the option to install and uninstall applications automatically. You can instruct Argente System Manager to install various applications by simply searching for them using the dedicated form. For instance, I typed in ‘Chrome’ and it displayed a list of applications that included this string.
On the other hand, the uninstaller can remove applications that are already installed on your PC. Argente System Manager allows you to manually select one or more applications from the list.
Manage startup items and apply various tweaks
The additional options in Argente System Manager allow you to customize and configure the system to enhance your experience. Startup applications are detected, allowing you to easily disable or enable them.
But what can indeed affect your user experience are the options to configure the system. There are various tweaks available, which are related to icons and thumbnails, the way folders and hidden files are shown in Explorer, selection boxes, preview options, and more. Frankly, I was expecting a few telemetry and privacy-related tweaks as well but, sadly, there aren’t any.
A system tweak tool with options to install and uninstall apps
Argente System Manager comes with a few tweaking and optimization options to help you preserve resources and optimize your PC’s performance. I found it interesting that it can download and install applications in batch mode. On the other hand, applying the modifications might seem troublesome, since it can only be done in batch mode and, in a few occasions, Argente System Manager failed to work properly.
