Diskraptor – Download – Softpedia

DiskRaptor can be best described a disk space analyzer. The program scans your drive and shows you what is taking up all your storage. If your C drive is almost full, you can use the tool to scan and perhaps discover a particular hidden folder is using a surprising amount of space.

Offers multiple ways to see what’s taking up space

The UI is fairly clean and organized, with a folder or file list at the top and a colorful treemap at the bottom that makes it easy to see which folders are taking up the most space. On the right side, there are panels showing scan information, file statistics and the largest files, giving you a quick overview of your disk usage.

You have several types of visuals, suitable for every preference like pie charts, treemaps, bar charts, and a 3D view. You also have colored size bars, file-type icons, and sortable file-age information, which make it easier to understand the contents of each folder and spot large or old files.

The visuals and side panels complement each other, meaning that while the colorful treemap gives you a quick, visual idea of where your storage is going, the file list and statistics panels help you narrow that down to specific folders and large files that may be worth investigating.

Save the scan and compare it to future ones

DiskRaptor lets you take a snapshot of how much space your files are using now and compare it with a later scan. For example, if your C drive has 70 GB of free space today but only 100 GB next month, you can compare the scans to see which folders or files have grown and are responsible for the extra 30 GB.

The app packs some extra tools that help you find specific things that may be wasting space, such as duplicate files, empty folders, or large files of a particular type. They also let you restore deleted files, search through scan results, and export the information.
