Motorola launched the Razr Fold in the US in late May, when the company announced that it would be available for purchase at T-Mobile and Verizon. T-Mobile got it right there and then, but Verizon has still not released the phone.

Now we know why. The FCC has only just certified a version of the Razr Fold that comes with mmWave 5G support, and Verizon has the most extensive mmWave 5G coverage in the US, so you can see where this is going.

Now that this model is finally certified, it could become available in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, Verizon hasn’t announced its full launch details yet, but we’ll let you know when it does. That’s also when we’ll be able to tell you how much it will cost at the carrier.
