Back in the day, the go-to method for many when it came to restoring a computer to top performance was reinstalling the OS. We’re all likely familiar with this advice: if you want everything to feel new and run smoothly, reinstall Windows. While that approach has its merits, it’s oftentimes a bit much, even with today’s SSDs and whatnot.
If your system is experiencing performance issues, then perhaps it’s due for a cleaning, which is something that Multron Win Cleaner seeks to help with. It’s a simple utility that includes various nice-to-haves, such as a system optimizer, memory cleaner, duplicate, a Game Mode for greater performance, and more.
System cleaning and optimization with zero effort on your part
Before getting started with the app, it’s good to consider what you’re looking to do with it. If it’s getting rid of some redundant files, clicking the Scan button, then proceeding with the cleaning is all you need to do.
A cursory look at the program does not reveal all, however, as there’s a whole suite of tools in the Utilities menu. There you’ll find amenities like a duplicate and large files finder, a startup manager, memory and firewall cleaners, to name a few.
Most of these tools work just as you would expect, with some being especially useful in my view. For instance, Firewall Rule Cleaner finds invalid entries and erases them, while the Startup Manager is a bit more advanced than the one you find in Task Manager.
Turbo Boost, and some more ways to save space
If you’re familiar with performance optimizations, then you’re likely no stranger to what Turbo Boost, or Game Mode, does. It offloads system resources by halting certain services for a time, which can provide you with some additional performance. Just to err on the side of caution, I’d recommend looking up each service that you’re looking to disable beforehand.
The file finder utilities aren’t anything new but do the job well insofar as they’re able to scan your system and detect duplicate data, as well as files exceeding a particular size.
Lastly, the Memory Cleaner is perhaps the least noteworthy among the bundled utilities. Cleaning your memory might suspend certain critical apps from running, and in most cases, the RAM usage climbs back up anyway, hence memory optimizations like such tend to be less effective.

Multron Win Cleaner is very to-the-point with its toolset, which is for the better as the software is very easy to use and get mileage out of. At its core, it’s a Windows cleaner with various amenities bundled in, ultimately providing a well-rounded feature set that you can use for various kinds of system optimization tasks.
