Multiple modules under test simultaneously in a single chamber, for significantly higher test throughput than legacy testers.
Antennex will demonstrate a production over-the-air test station for integrated antenna modules at the IEEE Phased Array Symposium (ARRAY 2026), Boston, exhibiting on 19 to 21 October 2026. The station combines The Wireless Connector®, Antennex’s reverberation chamber, with a vector signal transceiver, automated by Antennex’s own measurement software. It returns pass/fail verdicts on several phased-array modules at once, with no antenna alignment, no complex cable routing and no anechoic chamber.
Phased arrays have thousands of test configurations that are dependent on beam states and power levels. Conventional testing methods based on anechoic chambers cannot test them all: they must sample a limited number of beam positions and power levels. As phased arrays shift from low to high volume production, the testing bottleneck grows, and the usual answer is to multiply test setups. This increases instrumentation costs, operational complexity and setup footprint.
Antennex’s solution allows an operator to load multiple modules and then run a single test sequence across all of them. The station returns a pass/fail in seconds, against limits on total radiated power, system gain and noise figure.
Anouk Hubrechsen, CEO, Antennex, said: “The question our customers often ask is whether our measurement systems can be installed in their production line. This demonstrator shows our answer. It takes the chamber we already use for characterization in R&D and turns it into a gate on the line, with the same instrument, the same measurement software and the same calibration. For our customers that means more modules tested per hour, at a lower cost per module.”
