Earlier today, the Oppo Reno17 Pro had its specs leak, and we also recently heard that it may skip India. Now a tipster on X has backed that up, and also revealed which devices in the family will actually make it to India: the Reno17 and the Reno17c.
The Reno17 will allegedly be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, while the Reno17c will use the Dimensity 7300. Those are the same chipsets found in the Reno16 and Reno16c, respectively, and the same tipster previously said that the Reno17 series will have “almost the same specs” as its predecessors.

As for the Reno17 Pro, he mentions it will have a 6.32-inch 1.5K flat OLED screen with a high refresh rate, the Dimensity 8550 chipset, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto, a 50MP selfie camera, and a battery of around 7,000 mAh.
He also fills in a few gaps from the previous leak, adding a metal frame, an IP69 rating, and charging at around 80W, which would be the same as on the Reno16 Pro.
So why won’t the Reno17 Pro come to India? When asked in the replies to his post, the tipster answered with a single word: “Price!”. That’s not the first time this has happened either, since the Reno16 Pro also skipped India when its siblings launched there back in July.
According to past rumors, the Reno17 series should debut in China in November with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, before reaching India by early January.
