Oppo’s Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max went global recently, but the brand’s top camera flagship for this generation is still a few months away. Today, Digital Chat Station posted what’s allegedly the full camera setup of the Find X10 Ultra.
The phone reportedly has a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.12-inch type sensor and LOFIC technology, a 200MP periscope telephoto with a 1/1.3-inch type sensor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 10x optical zoom. The front allegedly gets a 100MP selfie camera with a 1:1 square sensor. The tipster lists the main sensor’s model as HPA/HPU, which makes us think it’s made by Samsung and is in the ISOCELL HPx family, but the sensor for the 200MP periscope camera apparently hasn’t been chosen yet.

The 10x periscope’s sensor hasn’t been finalized either. Oppo apparently wants a mid-size 1/1.95-inch type sensor there, but if that one’s mass production gets delayed, the phone could fall back to a smaller 1/2.76-inch type sensor. That fits with an earlier leak claiming that Oppo was testing two 1/1.95-inch type sensors for the 10x camera.
The Find X9 Ultra launched back in April, and it already has a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.12-inch type sensor, plus a 200MP periscope with a 1/1.28-inch type sensor. So on the rear, the real upgrades would be LOFIC on the main camera and a bigger 10x sensor, and the bigger sensor only comes if the 1/1.95-inch plan works out. The fallback is about the same size as the 1/2.75-inch type sensor in the Find X9 Ultra. The biggest change would actually be on the front, where the Find X9 Ultra makes do with a 50MP selfie camera.

The Find X10 Ultra is expected to arrive in the first half of next year, so there’s still plenty of time for things to change. In the meantime, we’ll let you know when we find out more.
