At European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2026, everything RF met Sebi Karakus, General Manager Europe at RIGOL Technologies, who showcased the company’s latest RF test and measurement instruments. The demonstration highlighted solutions spanning vector network analysis and real-time spectrum analysis, with products aimed at everyone from engineers looking for affordable RF test equipment to industrial and research organizations requiring measurements at frequencies up to 50 GHz. The portfolio included the DNA800 and DNA6000 Series vector network analyzers as well as the RSA800, RSA6000, and RSA7000 Series spectrum analyzers.
European Microwave Week, held in London from 4–9 October is Europe’s premier industry event that brings together leading companies, researchers, and engineers from the RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and radar industries to showcase the latest developments in high-frequency technologies.
Entry-Level RF Measurement Solutions
DNA800 Series

During the demonstration, Karakus highlighted the DNA800 Series as RIGOL’s entry-level VNA platform, emphasizing its affordability with a quoted price range of approximately €2,600 to €7,700 while offering measurement coverage up to 14 GHz.
RSA800 Series
He also showcased the RSA800 Series, a real-time spectrum analyzer designed for signal analysis, spectrum monitoring, interference hunting, and RF troubleshooting applications. Covering frequencies up to 14 GHz, the platform combines conventional swept spectrum analysis with real-time analysis capabilities, enabling engineers to detect and capture short-duration or intermittent signals that might otherwise go unnoticed. The analyzer also includes an integrated tracking generator and supports a range of RF measurement and component characterization tasks, making it suitable for educational laboratories, product development, and general-purpose RF testing. During the demonstration, Sebi Karakus highlighted the instrument’s affordability, noting a quoted price range of approximately €1,800 to €5,500, making real-time spectrum analysis accessible to a broader range of users.
Solutions for Industrial and Research Applications
DNA6000 Series
Moving to higher-performance instruments, Karakus presented the DNA6000 Series vector network analyzer. Covering frequencies from 5 kHz to 26.5 GHz and available in both two-port and four-port configurations, the instrument is designed for the development, validation, and production testing of RF and microwave components. It enables engineers to accurately characterize devices like filters, amplifiers, antennas, and cables by measuring their transmission and reflection performance across a wide frequency range. The platform also incorporates advanced measurement and analysis tools, including de-embedding to remove the effects of test fixtures from measurements, time-domain reflectometry (TDR) for locating faults and impedance discontinuities, and antenna measurement capabilities for more complex RF testing applications.
RSA6000 Series
The showcase also included the RSA6000 Series real-time spectrum analyzer. Covering frequencies up to 26.5 GHz and offering up to 200 MHz of real-time bandwidth, the instrument is designed for analyzing complex RF environments, characterizing wireless signals, identifying sources of interference, and troubleshooting communication systems. By combining conventional swept spectrum measurements with real-time analysis capabilities, it enables engineers to observe short-duration, intermittent, and frequency-hopping signals that can be difficult to detect using traditional spectrum analyzers. The platform also supports applications like vector signal analysis and EMI investigations, making it suitable for both development and validation of modern RF and wireless devices. During the demonstration, Sebi Karakus highlighted the analyzer’s ability to capture and analyze transient RF events, helping engineers quickly identify signal anomalies and interference issues in demanding test environments.
Karakus concluded the presentation with the RSA7500, RIGOL’s latest high-end spectrum analyzer. Offering frequency coverage up to 50 GHz, the analyzer represents what he described as the next milestone in the company’s RF product portfolio and reflects RIGOL’s continued expansion into higher-frequency test and measurement solutions.
