Weekly deals: the Samsung Galaxy S26 trio gets discounts up to €500, iPhones also get price cuts

We’re headed into the second half of 2026, which is when Samsung switches its focus to the Z-foldables. Meanwhile, the S26 series has received some pretty significant price cuts.

We start with the Samsung Galaxy S26. The base model – which finally features 256GB of storage instead of 128GB – is €165 off. There’s the option to upgrade to 512GB, which also involves a discount voucher. All three S26 phones follow the same pattern – straight discount for a 256GB model, discount + voucher for the 512GB model.

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ has a deep price cut, especially for the 512GB variant – that’s €500 off and there’s a small voucher on top of that. Now, we can argue whether the S26+ 512GB was ever worth €1,450 (which is the MSRP), but it’s safe to say that the sub-€1,000 pricing is much more appealing.

Then there’s the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – this one has a bigger discount for the 256GB version than the 512GB version (which has a cumulative price cut of €300).

If you’re having trouble picking between the three, you can turn to our versus articles:

That’s not all. Last week, we reported on a price drop for the Apple iPhone Air – the 256GB model was €890. That same phone is now €40 cheaper. The 512GB model costs the same as last week, though.

The Air is super thin and it is light for its 6.5” display, but the Apple iPhone 17 is shorter and narrower due to its smaller 6.3” display. Which one do you prefer? Well, take your pick – the 256GB versions of both cost the same at the moment. We have an article that compares the iPhone 17 with last year’s iPhone 16 and also with the current iPhone 17 Pro. The iPhone 17 was the best-selling phone in Q1, just like the iPhone 16 was last year – that many people can’t be wrong.

If you’re looking for a cheap iPhone, the Apple iPhone 17e is it – well, at least when measuring it on Apple’s scale. And it’s a bit cheaper now with a €50 discount. The small 6.1” screen has a gnarly looking notch and the sole camera on the back isn’t ideal. However, you get the same Apple A19 chipset with the same 8GB of RAM as the iPhone 17 and essentially the same battery life too.
