This isn’t the first trailer for GTA VI. Past trailers have been more akin to teasers, revealing very little about the game and focusing more on the vibe, the characters, and the game world. No actual gameplay footage of GTA VI has been officially shown yet.
Those past teasers were released back in December 2023 and May 2025, garnering nearly 300 million and 200 million views, respectively.
This unexpected collaboration with Netflix once again demonstrates that Grand Theft Auto has evolved into more than just a video game—it’s a pop culture phenomenon that must be celebrated with a special event. The trailer will be made available on YouTube a few hours afterwards.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19th, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC release date has not yet been announced. GTA VI was originally slated for release in 2025 but Rockstar repeatedly postponed the date.
