A recent rumor claimed that iQOO’s upcoming Neo12 would feature a 2K resolution display with a 185Hz refresh rate, supplied by Chinese manufacturer Visionox. Now, iQOO has officially confirmed the display specs and revealed a few more key details about the phone.
The iQOO Neo12 is set to launch in China this month, although the company has yet to announce an exact date. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has confirmed that the phone will feature an OLED panel from Visionox.
The display will offer a 2K resolution and 185Hz refresh rate. Visionox’s AMOLED panel uses p-TSF technology, which is designed to extend the display’s lifespan, reduce power consumption, and deliver accurate color reproduction.
iQOO will reveal more details about the display technology on October 14 during an event.
Beyond the display, iQOO has confirmed that the Neo12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The phone will feature a new Ice-Dome air cooling system with an active fan, alongside the company’s in-house Q3 gaming chipset.
The iQOO Neo12 is also confirmed to pack a 9,000mAh battery. Notably, the phone is already available for pre-order in China.
